What can I expect during treatment?

The GentleMax Pro laser system uses a patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ that ensures you’re comfortable throughout the process. The device prepares your skin by applying a cooling burst of cryogen before the laser pulse passes so you don’t feel any pain or discomfort during your treatment.

You’ll need multiple treatments to achieve your desired results. Hair follicles go through different phases of growth and laser hair removal is only effective on active follicles. Additional treatments ensure that the laser is able to target all the hair follicles in the desired area.

The length of a laser hair removal session varies based on the size and location of your treatment area.

How should I prepare for laser hair removal treatments?

Prior to your treatment, avoid sun exposure to the area for at least two weeks. You should also wait up to six weeks before having laser hair removal if you’ve recently had a wax or bleaching treatment.

On the day before your appointment, shave the area carefully, avoiding skin irritation and rashes, to ensure your skin is healthy enough for laser treatment.

How long do results last?

Once the laser destroys the hair follicle, hair can't regrow, and your results are permanent. Over time, new hair follicles can produce new hair growth. Maintenance treatments can be provided to help you maintain your results.
