Low or No Downtime Procedures

Downtime, what does it mean?

Prior to today's technology patients would require significant downtime to have any type of invasive procedure done. This was not an option for many patients and a lot of time patients were not able to get the care they needed.  Knowing this was a problem the manufactures, engineers and doctors reworked the treatment physics to provide an effective result but with much less redness, peeling and scabbing.

The goal is now to find treatments with reasonable downtime that will accomplish or exceed expectations.

Co2Re Fractional Laser

Dr. Polisky was the first dermatologist in Illinois to bring the Co2Re Fractional Laser into his practice. This laser is the one device that can reliably treat skin aging, repair acne scars and remove discoloration in one session. Typically, a week of downtime follows this procedure.

EndyMed Pro Skin Tightening

Once again Dr. Polisky was the first dermatologist in the area to purchase this radio frequency technology. This device offers impressive results with minimal discomfort, side effects and no downtime! However, it is important to note you may have some redness for a few hours following your treatment.

Our EndyMed is used on the Neck and Jowl or on Cheeks. The goal with EndyMed is to give you an improvement in the texture and elasticity of your skin. It is important to keep in mind this procedure is meant to make an improvement in your skin, not to replace surgical procedures. Radio Frequency (RF) is an advanced technology that safely heats the collagen in the skin. When sufficient energy is delivered the collagen will contract and trigger a second process of new collagen production. As a result, this collagen remodeling is tighter and younger looking skin! Treatment plans are based on each person and range from 6 to 12 sessions coming for treatment one week apart.  Please call the office reserve your consultation
